In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Centennial Hawks basketball team scored a big 49-13 win over the Deming Wildcats.
The Hawks (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Hatch Valley Bears (Hatch, NM) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Deming will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
