California High School Basketball - Chavez nips Franklin

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Chavez Titans basketball team scored a close 34-30 triumph over the Franklin Yellowjackets.
The Titans (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bear Creek (Stockton, CA). The Bruins go into the contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Bear Creek nipped Weston Ranch (Stockton, CA), 47-32, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Stagg Delta Kings (Stockton, CA) in a contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Franklin will attempt to advance on its 6-12 season record. The Delta Kings enter the battle with a 0-8 record after their 60-10 non-league loss to Kimball (Tracy, CA).
