The Houston Hawks ice hockey team scored 6 points and held the visiting Kenai Central Kardinals to 3 in the Hawks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Hawks now own a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Homer for a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. Houston will encounter a Mariners team coming off a 14-1 league loss to Palmer (Palmer, AK). The Mariners record now stands at 1-7.
With the defeat, Kenai Central moves to 9-8 on the season. The Kardinals travel to Palmer (Palmer, AK) to encounter the Moose in a Northern Lights bout on Friday, January 17. The Moose go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Palmer won 14-1 in their recent league bout against Homer (Homer, AK)
