The Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) ice hockey trounced the visiting Negaunee Miners (Negaunee, MI), 11-3 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Northmen now own a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host De La Salle Collegiate for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 18. Petoskey will encounter a Pilots team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Dakota (Macomb, MI). The Pilots record now stands at 7-6.
With the defeat, Negaunee moves to 3-10 on the season. The Miners travel to Sparta (Sparta, MI) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league outing on Friday, January 17. The Spartans go into the outing with a record of 10-3.
