The Lee Park Prep Knights (Monroe, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Covenant Classical Warriors (Concord, NC), 60-31 in Thursday's league bout.
The Knights now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Gospel Light Christian for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 23.
With the loss, Covenant Classical falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Lake Norman Christian (Davidson, NC) to play the Lions in a bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 11-1.
