In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Wekiva Mustangs basketball team scored a close 55-51 triumph over the Horizon Hawks.
The Mustangs (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Mary (Lake Mary, FL). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 13-0 record.
In their next game, the Hawks confront the Lake Buena Vista Vipers (Orlando, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Horizon will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Vipers go into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 52-45 non-league loss to Freedom (Orlando, FL).
