The Tabernacle Torches basketball squad (Gardendale, AL), was nudged 34-30 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors (Northport, AL)
With the victory, Tuscaloosa Home Educators advances its record to 9-8 on the year. The Warriors host Wiregrass (Dothan, AL) to meet the Kings in a battle on Saturday, January 18. The Kings enter the battle with a record of 2-5.
The Torches now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rocket City for a non-league battle on Friday, January 17.
