Texas High School Soccer - Walnut Grove knocks off Fossil Ridge

In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Walnut Grove Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Fossil Ridge Panthers.
The Wildcats (5-0) will now prepare for their match against South Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Scorpions come into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, South Hills by South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX), 1-0, in a non-league match.
The Panthers now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Grand Prairie for a non-league match on Friday, January 17. Fossil Ridge will meet a Warriors team coming off a 0-0 non-league Wylie (Wylie, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
