Connecticut High School Basketball - Platt Tech overwhelms Wright Tech

The Platt Tech Panthers basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Wright Tech Warriors to 37 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Whitney RVT for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 20. Platt Tech will confront a Owls team coming off a 65-42 non-league win over Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT). The Owls record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Wright Tech falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Warriors host Abbott RVT (Danbury, CT) to clash with the Wolverines in a non-league test on Tuesday, January 20. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 5-3. Abbott RVT won 68-33 in their recent non-league test against O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT)
