Norwalk Warriors (Norwalk, IA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA), 43-27 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Norwalk upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host Pella Christian (Pella, IA) to play the Eagles in a Little Hawkeye bout on Friday, January 21. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 9-3. Pella Christian lost 59-52 in their recent league bout against Pella (Pella, IA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Winterset Huskies (Winterset, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Friday, January 21. Carlisle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 80-53 league win over Boone (Boone, IA).
