California High School Basketball - Shadow Hills thwarts Hillcrest

The Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Hillcrest Trojans (Riverside, CA), 56-39 in Monday's non-league test.
The Knights (19-1) will now prepare for their test against Palm Desert (Palm Desert, CA). The Aztecs go into the Desert Empire test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Palm Desert notched a victory over Rancho Mirage (Rancho Mirage, CA), 57-17, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 12-7 record. They play next when they host Ramona for a River Valley test on Tuesday, January 18. Hillcrest will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 40-15 league win over Arlington (Riverside, CA). The Rams record now stands at 8-14.
