The Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) basketball crushed the host Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA), 67-25 in Tuesday's league test.
The Comets (12-1) will now prepare for their test against West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Invaders go into the Lackawanna 1 test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, West Scranton walloped Delaware Valley (Milford, PA), 67-44, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Delaware Valley for a Lackawanna 2 test on Friday, January 20.
