In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Ansonia Tigers (Ansonia, OH) basketball squad edged the host Covington Buccs (Covington, OH), by a margin of 64-59.
The Tigers (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against National Trail (New Paris, OH). The Blazers go into the Western Ohio outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, National Trail was tipped by Eaton (Eaton, OH), 61-33, in a non-league outing.
The Buccs now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bethel for a Three Rivers outing on Friday, January 20. Covington will clash with a Bees squad coming off a 41-37 league win over Riverside (De Graff, OH). The Bees record now stands at 5-10.
