The Archbishop Shaw Eagles (Marrero, LA) basketball crushed the host East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA), 71-43 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (15-7) will now prepare for their test against West Jefferson (Harvey, LA). The Buccaneers go into the non-league test with a 5-9 record.
The Warriors now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to John Curtis Christian for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. East Jefferson will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 61-55 league win over Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 10-4.
