The Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy Ravens basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles to 44 in the Ravens non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Ravens now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy will battle a Cyclones team coming off a 55-43 non-league win over Horton (Horton, KS). The Cyclones record now stands at 2-8.
The Eagles (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Seabury Academy (Lawrence, KS). The Seahawks enter the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Bishop Seabury Academy was defeated by Baldwin (Baldwin, KS), 65-58, in a non-league contest.
