The Midwest Central Raiders basketball team (Manito, IL), was nudged 52-51 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Athens Warriors (Athens, IL)
The Warriors now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Berlin for a Sangamo battle on Friday, January 20. Athens will battle a Pretzels team coming off a 54-47 non-league win over Tri-City (Buffalo, IL). The Pretzels record now stands at 15-4.
The Raiders (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against Beardstown (Beardstown, IL). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 9-12 record.
