In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Pittsfield Saukees (Pittsfield, IL), by a count of 60-52.
The Trojans (15-5) will now prepare for their outing against Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Spartans go into the Sangamo outing with a 5-14 record. In their last outing, Olympia was topped by Monticello (Monticello, IL), 58-47, in a non-league outing.
The Saukees now hold a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Louisiana for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 19. Pittsfield will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 58-31 non-league win over North Point (Wentzville, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-5.
