In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Aurora Christian Eagles (Aurora, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Elmwood Park Tigers (Elmwood Park, IL), by a count of 65-36.
The Eagles (15-5) will now prepare for their outing against Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL). The Bulldogs go into the Metro Suburban outing with a 16-4 record. In their last outing, Riverside-Brookfield smashed Fenwick (Oak Park, IL), 56-45, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now hold a 2-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop McNamara for a Metro Suburban game on Friday, January 20. Elmwood Park will face a Fightin' Irish team coming off a 80-49 league loss to Ridgewood (Norridge, IL). The Fightin' Irish record now stands at 14-5.
