The Galena Bulldogs basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Ava Bears to 47 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Halfway for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Galena will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 61-60 league loss to Hermitage (Hermitage, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-9.

The Bears (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Clever (Clever, MO). The Blue Jays enter the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Clever nudged Lighthouse Christian (Springfield, MO), 69-45, in a non-league contest.
