The Cardinal Spellman Cardinals basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Bedford Buccaneers to 40 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Feehan for a Catholic Central - Large contest on Friday, January 20. Cardinal Spellman will battle a Shamrocks team coming off a 68-55 non-league loss to Mansfield (Mansfield, MA). The Shamrocks record now stands at 6-4.

The Buccaneers (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cambridge Rindge & Latin (Cambridge, MA). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Cambridge Rindge & Latin was defeated by Charlestown (Charlestown, MA), 66-56, in a non-league contest.
