The Shawnee Braves basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Benjamin Logan Raiders to 23 in the Braves non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Braves now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellefontaine for a Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail contest on Friday, January 20. Shawnee will battle a Chieftains team coming off a 44-38 non-league win over Graham Local (St. Paris, OH). The Chieftains record now stands at 7-7.
The Raiders (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against North Union (Richwood, OH). The Wildcats enter the Central Buckeye - Mad River contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, North Union triumphed over Kenton Ridge (Springfield, OH), 75-61, in a non-league contest.
