Tennessee High School Basketball - Bledsoe County topped by East Ridge

The East Ridge Pioneers basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Bledsoe County Warriors to 63 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Pioneers now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chattanooga Central for a 3A District 6 contest on Friday, January 20. East Ridge will battle a Pounders team coming off a 58-55 league win over Red Bank (Chattanooga, TN). The Pounders record now stands at 7-11.
The Warriors (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against York Institute (Jamestown, TN). The Dragons come into the 2A District 5 contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, York Institute prevailed over Monterey (Monterey, TN), 77-38, in a league contest.
