Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Flushing Raiders (Flushing, MI) and the visiting Brandon Blackhawks (Ortonville, MI), saw Flushing's basketball squad knock off Brandon by a tally of 46-36.
With the victory, Flushing improves its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Raiders host Swartz Creek (Swartz Creek, MI) to play the Dragons in a Flint Metro challenge on Friday, January 20. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Swartz Creek lost 51-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Goodrich (Goodrich, MI)
Next up, the Blackhawks play the Corunna Cavaliers (Corunna, MI) in a Flint Metro challenge, on Friday, January 20. Brandon will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 58-55 league win over Fenton (Fenton, MI).
