The Oak Forest Bengals basketball team (Oak Forest, IL), was nudged 47-46 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL)
The Braves now possess a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thornton Fractional South for a South Suburban battle on Friday, January 20. Bremen will battle a Red Wolves team coming off a 64-58 league loss to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL). The Red Wolves record now stands at 10-10.
The Bengals (7-11) will now prepare for their battle against Lemont (Lemont, IL). The Lemont HS come into the South Suburban battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, Lemont was nudged by Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL), 57-39, in a league battle.
