In Tuesday's league outing, the New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) basketball squad felled the visiting Bunnell Bulldogs (Stratford, CT), by a margin of 53-44.
The Rebels (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Lancers go into the Southwest outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Notre Dame Catholic thwarted Masuk (Monroe, CT), 79-50, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Brookfield for a Southwest outing on Friday, January 20. Bunnell will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 65-50 league win over Bethel (Bethel, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 9-2.
