Butler Aviators (Vandalia, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Northridge Polar Bears (Dayton, OH), 47-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Butler upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Aviators travel to Greenville (Greenville, OH) to clash with the Green Wave in a Miami Valley - Miami bout on Friday, January 20. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 1-13. Greenville lost 87-61 in their recent league bout against West Carrollton (West Carrollton, OH)

Next up, the Polar Bears clash with the Riverside Pirates (De Graff, OH) in a Three Rivers bout, on Friday, January 20. Northridge will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 41-37 league loss to Bethel (Tipp City, OH).
