Louisiana High School Basketball - Carver Collegiate Academy can't hold off Port Allen

The Port Allen Pelicans basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Carver Collegiate Academy Rams to 58 in the Pelicans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pelicans now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Episcopal for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 18. Port Allen will battle a Knights team coming off a 44-43 non-league win over Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA). The Knights record now stands at 11-9.
The Rams (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Warren Easton (New Orleans, LA). The Eagles enter the 4A District 11 contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Warren Easton nudged Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA), 61-54, in a league contest.
