Colorado High School Basketball - Chaparral nipped by Castle View

January 17, 2023: Castle Rock, CO 80109

The Castle View Sabercats tipped the visiting Chaparral Wolverines basketball team by a final score of 62-55 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Sabercats face the Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO) in a 6A/5A Continental game, on Friday, January 20. Castle View will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 9-5 record after their 75-64 league loss to Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO).

With the defeat, Chaparral moves to 7-7 on the year. The Wolverines host Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch, CO) to face the Golden Eagles in a 6A/5A Continental game on Friday, January 20. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a record of 11-2. Mountain Vista lost 81-72 in their recent non-league game against Denver East (Denver, CO)
