Michigan High School Basketball - Greenhills can't hold off Central Academy

The Central Academy Falcons basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Greenhills Gryphons to 41 in the Falcons non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Falcons now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Universal Academy for a Freelance contest on Thursday, January 19. Central Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 41-39 non-league loss to Davis Aerospace Tech (Detroit, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.

The Gryphons (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI). The Ventures come into the Catholic Intersectional I contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Bishop Foley edged Nouvel Catholic Central (Saginaw, MI), 47-45, in a non-league contest.
