Midview Middies (Grafton, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Columbia Raiders (Columbia Station, OH), 66-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Midview upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Middies host Olmsted Falls (Olmsted Falls, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Southwestern bout on Friday, January 20. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 3-11. Olmsted Falls lost 88-69 in their recent league bout against Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH)

Next up, the Raiders play the Black River Pirates (Sullivan, OH) in a Lorain County 8 bout, on Friday, January 20. Columbia will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 71-47 league loss to Oberlin (Oberlin, OH).
