Tennessee High School Basketball - Cornersville topped by Community

The Community Vikings/Viqueens basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Cornersville Bulldogs to 49 in the Vikings/Viqueens non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Vikings/Viqueens now sport a 1-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grundy County for a 2A District 7 contest on Friday, January 20. Community will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 71-58 non-league win over Van Buren County (Spencer, TN). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-5.
The Bulldogs (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Moore County (Lynchburg, TN). The Raiders come into the 1A District 9 contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Moore County prevailed over Eagleville (Eagleville, TN), 53-47, in a league contest.
