Rhode Island High School Basketball - Johnston trounces Coventry

The Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) basketball crushed the visiting Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI), 86-60 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (11-2) will now prepare for their test against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI). The Rebels go into the Division 2 test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, South Kingstown was trounced by Rogers (Newport, RI), 50-43, in a league test.
The Oakers now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to St. Raphael Academy for a Division 2 test on Monday, January 23.
