The Daviess County Panthers basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Meade County Green Waves to 53 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Henderson County for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Daviess County will battle a Colonels team coming off a 82-73 non-league loss to Castle (Newburgh, IN). The Colonels record now stands at 11-6.
The Green Waves (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hancock County (Lewisport, KY). The Hornets enter the District 11 contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Hancock County triumphed over Trinity (Whitesville, KY), 64-53, in a non-league contest.
