Esko Eskomos (Esko, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Denfeld Hunters (Duluth, MN), 86-80 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Esko upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Eskomos host Moose Lake/Willow River (Moose Lake, MN) to play the Rebels in a AA Section 7 bout on Friday, January 20. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 7-5. Moose Lake/Willow River won 73-37 in their recent non-league bout against Carlton (Carlton, MN)

Next up, the Hunters play the Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Denfeld will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record.
