The Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA) basketball knocked off the host Lewis Central Titans (Council Bluffs, IA), 70-58 in Tuesday's league test.
The Monarchs (8-3) will now prepare for their test against St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA). The Falcons go into the Hawkeye Ten test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, St. Albert went down by Glenwood (Glenwood, IA), 78-48, in a league test.
The Titans now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Shenandoah for a Hawkeye Ten test on Friday, January 20. Lewis Central will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 62-33 league loss to Creston (Creston, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-12.
