The Ellendale Cardinals ran past the host Leola/Frederick Titans basketball team by a final score of 56-41 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the LaMoure/Litchville-Marion Loboes (LaMoure, ND) in a B Region 3 District 5 battle, on Friday, January 20. Ellendale will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record.
The Titans (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Langford (Langford, SD). The Lions come into the B Region 1 battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Langford beat Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD), 67-59, in a league battle.
