The Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY) basketball knocked off the host Elliott County Lions (Sandy Hook, KY), 81-67 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Grace Christian (Huntington, WV). The go into the non-league test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Grace Christian went down by Calvary Baptist Academy (Hurricane, WV), 85-53, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they host East Carter for a District 62 test on Wednesday, January 18. Elliott County will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 52-51 non-league loss to Bath County (Owingsville, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 8-6.
