Rocky Mount Academy Eagles (Rocky Mount, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Epiphany Falcons (New Bern, NC), 76-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rocky Mount Academy upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a NCISAA Carolina Independent bout on Friday, January 20. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Faith Christian lost 72-37 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill (Durham, NC)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Wayne Christian Eagles (Goldsboro, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Plain bout, on Friday, January 20. Epiphany will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 44-35 league loss to John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC).
