In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Worthington Trojans (Worthington, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fairmont Cardinals (Fairmont, MN), by a margin of 68-43.
The Trojans (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Marshall (Marshall, MN). The Tigers go into the AAA Section 2 outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Marshall was trounced by Washington (Sioux Falls, SD), 65-46, in a non-league outing.
The Cardinals now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Waseca for a non-league outing on Friday, January 20.
