The Firelands Falcons basketball team (Oberlin, OH), was toppled 75-63 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Steele Comets (Amherst, OH)
The Comets now possess a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Ridgeville for a Southwestern battle on Friday, January 20. Steele will confront a Rangers team coming off a 65-54 non-league win over Keystone (La Grange, OH). The Rangers record now stands at 10-3.
The Falcons (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Oberlin (Oberlin, OH). The The Phoenix come into the Lorain County 8 battle with a 7-8 record.
