The Gray-New Gloucester Patriots basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Mt. Ararat Eagles to 43 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wells for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Gray-New Gloucester will battle a Warriors team coming off a 61-48 non-league loss to Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 4-7.

The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Brunswick (Brunswick, ME). The Dragons enter the A South contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Brunswick was defeated by Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME), 68-55, in a non-league contest.
