With the victory, Platt upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Maloney (Meriden, CT) to play the Spartans in a Central Connecticut - South Colonial challenge on Friday, January 20. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 4-4.

Next up, the Owls play the Bulkeley Bulldogs (Hartford, CT) in a Capitol Region challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Hartford Public will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 50-34 league win over Metropolitan Learning Center (Bloomfield, CT).
