The Jefferson Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA) basketball knocked off the host Hempstead Mustangs (Dubuque, IA), 73-61 in Tuesday's league test.
The Hawks (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Warriors go into the Mississippi Valley test with a 6-11 record.
