The Ovilla Christian Eagles basketball team (Red Oak, TX), was nudged 54-53 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Huckabay Indians (Stephenville, TX)

The Indians now possess a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Strawn for a 1A Region III District 19 battle on Friday, January 20.

The Eagles (12-10) will now prepare for their battle against Christian Life Preparatory (Fort Worth, TX). The Knights come into the TAPPS 2A District 2 battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Christian Life Preparatory edged Mercy Culture Prep (Fort Worth, TX), 46-34, in a league battle.
