The North Vermilion Patriots tipped the host Iota Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 59-58 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Patriots face the Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA) in a 4A District 4 game, on Tuesday, January 24. North Vermilion will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record.
The Bulldogs (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Port Barre (Port Barre, LA). The Red Devils come into the 3A District 4 battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Port Barre was nudged by Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA), 64-38, in a non-league battle.
