The Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants (Kalamazoo, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI), 49-25 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Maroon Giants (8-0) will now prepare for their test against Central (Battle Creek, MI). The Bearcats go into the Southwestern Michigan - East test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Central was trounced by Mattawan (Mattawan, MI), 62-56, in a non-league test.
The Lancers now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Portage Northern for a Southwestern Michigan - West test on Friday, January 20. Lakeshore will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 67-51 league win over Gull Lake (Richland, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 3-7.
