The Kent City Eagles basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Wellspring Prep to 60 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reed City for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Kent City will battle a Coyotes team coming off a 56-49 non-league loss to Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI). The Coyotes record now stands at 6-4.
The (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart Academy (Grand Rapids, MI). The come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Sacred Heart Academy prevailed over West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science (Walker, MI), 60-41, in a non-league contest.
