The Lakeview Lakers basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Murray County Central Rebels to 37 in the Lakers league victory on Tuesday.
The Lakers now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Renville County West for a A Section 3 contest on Thursday, January 19. Lakeview will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 105-33 league loss to Dawson-Boyd (Dawson, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-11.
The Rebels (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN). The Chargers come into the A Section 3 contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Westbrook-Walnut Grove prevailed over Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda (Okabena, MN), 81-51, in a league contest.
