With the win, Long Island Lutheran upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Crusaders host Poughkeepsie (Poughkeepsie, NY) to clash with the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Luther Cougars (Maspeth, NY) in a PSAL Area NYSAIS PSAA - Western bout, on Saturday, January 21. Portledge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
