Marathon Red Raiders (Marathon, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mosinee Indians (Mosinee, WI), 67-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marathon upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Red Raiders host Athens (Athens, WI) to play the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 10-2.

Next up, the Indians play the Antigo Red Robins (Antigo, WI) in a Great Northern bout, on Friday, January 20. Mosinee will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Red Robins go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 73-48 non-league loss to Wausau East (Wausau, WI).
